Hiya - I might be wrong, but I don't think you have ever mentioned use of "burst" when doing people. Personally I always use it, especially when there are more than one (e.g. groups or street). Same with animals and activities or festivals. It is a bit of a pain deleting afterwards, but sometimes small changes seem important, e.g. when something moves and you get or lose a little bit of a gap or similar. Any thoughts?
@PaulChapmanUK4 жыл бұрын
Useful tip.

I am a big fan of your way of teaching ... But I was surprised that you didn't give enough directions on posing
@MikeBrowne4 жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙏 Abdulrahman Almoghamis. I don't like posed photos of people. There's a fine line between them showing who they are for real and becoming something else, created by the photographer. I don't pose people, just a bit of direction, show them where to be for best light and talk to them. Often pretend I'm not ready so they look around and do their own thing - then I pounce and capture it... MIKE 🙂

Mike, maybe you can answer my question. My old film cameras had a focus from as close as they go to infinity, all my digital cameras can focus beyond infinity, this is annoying for taking shots of moon/stars etc. Why do they do this?
@MikeBrowne4 жыл бұрын
Hi Pete_SB. This has always bugged me too but never bothered to check. Copied the following from BHP Blog post by Todd Vorenkamp... "Theories range from preserving autofocus motors, reducing manufacturing costs, and compensating for thermal expansion of metal and plastic parts and/or the lens glass itself, allowing infrared (IR) photo capabilities, and allowances for the increasing resolution of digital sensors being less forgiving than film." There's a LOT of info on different lenses there but no one seems to have a common consensus ... Have a look at link below...
