I have visited and camped at Shiloh several times. Each time, I found the Battlefield Tour to be more moving than the previous visit. I hope you found it to be a place of both reverence and sadness. Thank you for giving me another short tour.

Camping at Shiloh and spending to there so like a great adventure. There is so much to see and learn. Wished we had more time to visit. It was a wonderful tour filled with so many emotions. I’m one the looks at what would one feel on the battlefield hearing, smell, taste, feel and seeing with the senses. The amount of loss of life both young and old including women that came to check on their sons or husbands. How life changed with the massive decrease in men. The loyalty of those fighting to line up side by side. Nothing in a history book could convey what occurred. The words “Hornet’s Nest” has a new visual meaning to me. It was nice to go with a group of others to discuss their thoughts. We are fortunate our forefathers preserves the battlefield and created a National Military Park. Thanks for watching

Thanks. It was a long walk down the dock. I just walked through The Wharf Marina. So many ginormous sport fishing boats and a lot of Loopers. Thanks for watching

The battle fields give me chills, I lived in Gettysburg PA for a couple years, my bride worked at the battlefield tours station. The grounds and statues are impressive but it’s all pretty sad! ❤️⚓️

Thank you for sharing your trip. I enjoyed seeing the Shiloh Battlefield Monument as I've never been. Sailed past it on the Tennessee but didn't stop. Stayed at Aqua and did the ten-tom, on our way from St.Paul, MN to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

I'm glad we went to Shiloh with the two other boat couples since we had the courtesy car for six hours (2 hours per boat). It allowed us to stay and see more at the Battlefield. We used an audio tour to guide us. I learned so much from the movie at the visitor center and from the audio tour. Just had to look up how you came down the Mississippi River to the Ohio and beyond. I'm amazed how far we can travel on the Rivers. Enjoy the beautiful waters of Fort Lauderdale. Thanks for watching.
