Yall are going a great job. I appreciate you very much. You are correct they are small anchorages but history will tell us if they they get a finger hold . They will get a foot hold, and then there will take all anchorages illegal. It's sad . I believe thump the trouble makers . And don't pick on the good and Honest.

Someone needs to make the Boat show see that the only Thing Miami wants is their Money, and as Such They need to let Miami Know They are going to move the Show if these Anti-Boat laws are going to continue.

I'll bet the money MIBS and FLIBS bring in is miniscule compared to the amount of property taxes they collect from waterfront residents.

Have you thought of advocating for the 4th Amendment rights of your members? I've always been shocked that boaters (especially pleasure craft) just accept that they can be boarded at any time for any reason absent RAS or PC. The court cases that set this precedent are ancient and modern technology can easily mitigate the initial reasons for the "governmental interest" in eliminating our rights. Just a thought.

I'm not sure we're big enough, nor have deep enough pockets, to tackle this issue.

Michigan has more shoreline than Florida. JS

Thanks. Since most Loopers don't do the Lake Huron side of the mitt nor the UP, I believe most still travel more miles in Florida, and many linger in Florida waiting for winter to end.
