You missed a picture of the giant "Tooney" the Canadian 2 dollar coin. The designer was from Campbellford. Thanks for the memories of the trip we took a few years ago.

Boat cards remind me of cards we Ham Radio operators use.

Campbellford Ontario is where my great-great-grandfather, an Irish immigrant, had a farm and where my great-grandfather was born. Cool to see the double lock video.

On my wish list to explore the Trent Severn. I spent time in the Thousand Islands and that was fun. Thanks for sharing the journey.

Rice Lake is known for Muskies and other fish. The Kawarthas, beyond Peterboro, are great for fishing too.

How are the mosquitoes?

@@davidrockefeller2007 They are super friendly and will definitely have you over for dinner. They're huge, hungry, and plentiful.

You may want to try Google contacts. You can enter the data and text and also add a copy of the photo of the boat card to the file. That way you’ll be able to search without a problem for a boat that you may know the name of and you’ll have it on all your android devices.

The reason the cottagers weren't expecting the water to rise 3ft is because the level of Lake Ontario is tightly controlled by the US and Canadian Governments Those boathouses were probably at water level for 50 years or more.

I think I've seen all of your loop videos. Did you get slow bells shipped to west coast ? Hope all is well

Yup, the boat and I are now happily living in Blaine WA. Best wishes from the West Coast.

when you cross into canada do you need a passport?
@seattleboatguy4 жыл бұрын
Ks4io : Interestingly enough, I think it is easier to get into Canada than it is to get back into the USA. As I recall, I think you can get into Canada with a driver's license, but I'm pretty sure you need a passport to return to the USA.

The boat cards seem to be a good way to transfer information with out it all getting messed up as you review your translation of the scribbled note you hastily made as they gave you the information faster than you could scribble. Now how is that for a fine run on sentence? 8-) The drama of the loop trip has me sitting on the edge of my chair in suspense. Oh my.
