I, also, love CB-Rs early decks. Feels like later ones have less 'soul', as if she's under so much pressure to produce, it dries up the creative well. I'm sorry for your loss , I'm still grieving for my dog so I totally understand you. Kevin Jay Stanton is the author of Botanica Tarot , it's gorgeous and I just order it thanks to you. . And yes you are so right we forgot our old friends and take them for granted. Spirit Animal Oracle it;s an amazing oracle : lots of cards, the art meets the objective of the oracle, and BTW it's inspired by the Hindu tradition that's why we see crowns on those animals' heads and a mandala on the back.. It's not fluffy. Also Santa Muerte Tarot is probably the most positive deck ever and very wise in the same time. The guide book is amazing.. Thank you for your amazing videos.

Marine, if you only knew how much my deck collection is influenced by you: not so much how many, but the deks that I really love and wouldn't have chosen otherwise. Except for maybe the Grand Eteilla ( I'm a Capricorn - it was THAT video that did it ) which I managed to acquire, alas my ADHD butt has not managed to get into a new system yet. But it's there on the shelf for when I get there! Also, I am sending you lots of love and awkward hugs through sheer will alone. It'll get there all the way from SW Virginia eventually. I'm still heartbroken over my big old boy Buddy and it's been a few years now, but when I get sad over how much I miss him I try to remember that after I took him home from a shelter, I gave him the life of a very spoiled, very loved family member and he got to be pretty old. It's hard to be without him, but he knew he was deeply loved and had an excellent life after he adopted me. ❤

The lovers card in next world is very powerful & relatable lol at the ugliest tarot backs - they did a glow up Connected and free is one I’ve always wanted so hope it comes out again I’ve also wanted botanica but there’s so many negative reviews on Amazon regarding the cardstock

I’m So surprised about the cardstock complain, the edition I have anyway it’s really nice ! Like matte but not sticky, nice edging that doesn’t chip even with use, I really don’t have any bad things to say but maybe they have changed it since I got mine because I ordered it very early on release. I mean I’m not a cardstock snob but this is really not bad at all I’m shocked 🤣 those ugly backings haunt my nightmares haha. Thank you for watching darling 💖💖

Botanica tarot is beautiful, thank you for this discovery! I love Connected and Free oracle. It pairs very well with The Wild Unknown Tarot. It was my first independent deck purchase and never regretted it. Animal Spirit oracle by CBW is one that I always felt drawn to, but I never got it.... maybe I will.. soon. :) Thanks for sharing! I have laughed so hard when you started to talk about the backs of Illuminati tarot. It is horrible in the French version. The English version has a very beautiful green with gold backing which I love. I also have bought the separate huge guidebook, but the one included in the English set is also very good.

Hi Marine :D I enjoy your videos where you flip through and talk about various decks; you manage to be informative and very funny at the same time; a talent, for sure! About the Runic Tarot (because I have it, I study the Runes, and use the deck frequently, mostly during shadow work) I have to say that the runes' messages/descriptions didn't make much sense by themselves, but! I bought a very informative book to use alongside this deck: Sandra Kynes, Magical Symbols and Alphabets/Llewellyn Editions, and wow! Then I understood...
