No blacks didn’t start this mass migration back to the South until the late 90s. Blacks in the 70s and 80s stayed in there respective areas they moved and live for then decades. It wasn’t until the 90s when Atlanta NC Virginia Florida and Texas all became hot spots for people moving. Honestly blacks need to start moving to the Northwest and Mountain west states like Colorado. We are already populated majority South then the Midwest and Northeast then California and Nevada are the only states in the West with large numbers of black Americans.

@@TipToe67 With your dumbass, you don't know that MOST are in there for a reason. With things like people getting 20 years for supposedly stealing chewing gum, black children having cops called on them while obeying laws and doing mundane everyday activities, and people getting shot in the street unarmed, there's no way to quantify how many black people actually are in jail/prison for a real reason. However, I agree with the 'prison prevention' idea and the economics mention from the earlier comments is exactly right. It's treated as a game. Black people care about all issues - not just ones that are particularly bad.

I was out home back in California and I've experience this when I was cruising around San Francisco and looking around in the neighborhoods like the Fillmore District, Ocean View, Lakeview, in Hunters Point Bayview. Half of the African American population is reducing back to its Southern Roots. States like Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and South Carolina these are the main five states that are seeking population growth even from African Americans that come from different cities in different states. But I've been living in Texas for almost three years now it's cheap to live down south even though the weather is very drastic but I can't do nothing about it. If only California can stop fucking shit up I'll move back and plus it really sucks because I don't have that much family out here in the south most of them are back home in the Golden State in some are in the Midwest.

Georgia has played a more prominent role in the reverse Great Migration story than Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. That's neither odd or perplexing considering the numbers. Georgia played a much less prominent role in the early to mid 20th century Great Migration story than Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. That's both odd and perplexing when considering that in comparison to their respective 1920 black populations, average black populations from 1930-1970, happened to be 226,000 larger in Louisiana, 58,000 larger in Alabama, 24,000 larger in Mississippi, but.101,000 smaller in Georgia.

Just because the voting procedures are different in California than Georgia that doesn’t mean voter suppression. Each state is somewhat different. I have never had an issue with voting.
