Great morning paddle! Fenn Blue-Fin S surfski & Riot Edge 14.5 sea kayak

Nick and I paddling around Browns Island on this clip. Nick is paddling his surfski while I am paddling a sea kayak Riot Edge 14.5. The water pollution in many locations in Auckland was rated black that day after all the rain (meaning wastewater overflow) so I didn't want to take the risk of capsizing paddling a surfski...

It is only at the beach! There is a rain water overflow pipe going there and if it rains hard the wastewater can get mixed to it... The advice is for swimmers but I prefer to be on the safe side 😂
