Thanks for the great review! Ordered an alps outdoorz commander external frame, and returned it because the frame rubbed the back of my shoulders no matter how it was adjusted. Just got this for $240 shipped on sale, hoping it’s a good replacement.

awesome video man… I’m sold, thank you for the review! Is it still a great buy? Or has another pack come along and taken it’s place for the value?
@Bullets4Bucks Жыл бұрын
I still like it and it's a great value. Alps came out with a new one last year and they also have some good budget options. If your looking for high end expensive packs I recommend mystery ranch for budget minded alps or slumberjack. Some alps outdoorz packs are loud though

I was a tester for products a few years ago and own the Bounty and bounty 2.0 during to test. What Needed changes about the Bounty they fixed with the 2.0. I love the pack as well. I use it on my elk trip every year. We stay in the mtns for 3-5 days at a time and it’s the perfect pack for that.

good review and helpful as i try to research info for planning a moose hunt. My question is who makes the secondary gun sling you have attached?
@Bullets4Bucks4 жыл бұрын
One is built in down the center the other on the waist belt is sitka but i recommend the kuiu quick draw gun holder

@@Bullets4Bucks ..that is what i was looking for! did you have any issues with you back perspiring? the pack does not look like it has a lot of ventilation for your back.

@@Bullets4Bucks ...another option i found that you might look at is the kifra Gun Bearer for their packs. it looks to be Pals/molle compatible. kifaru.net/store/accessories/gun-bearers/#reviews

Thank you, How does it compare to the Alpz outdoors you reviewed? Its a bit more expensive but which do you prefer if you could only have one?

Outdoorz I have is more of a day hunt design this is much better for multiday hunts...

@@Bullets4Bucks Ok Thanks, Even though they the Outdoorz is technically larger at 74L? Hmmm. What about the quality of each, Is one better in your opinion?
@Bullets4Bucks4 жыл бұрын
@@MrRyanmcmahon The outdoorz travers eps is only 54L with an expandable area for meat its 74L. The Slumberjack bounty 2.0 is 80.81L so it is bigger and with the bounty I am not sure if that includes the expandable meat storage. The Bounty can also be turned into just a meat shelf pack or just a daypack. The slumberjack is better but costs more. If you are looking for 1 pack to do it all and be better quality get the slumberjack

Awesome review man. Question, can you add a water bladder to the small detachable day bag? It doesn't look like it's designed for it but do you think you could add a small 1L or 2L bladder and run the drinking hose out thru a zipper or something?
@Bullets4Bucks3 жыл бұрын
Probably a 1 l

Thanks for the review. I picked the bounty 2.0 a few months ago. it carry's well loaded and has good layout. My biggest complaint is for treestand carry. It's very difficult to carry a treestand between the main pack and the frame, it's just not reasonable for "hang and hunts" to go through the effort in the dark to load/unload a stand this way in the field in the dark. With the bounty 2.0, I currently carry my treestand between the main pack and the accessory pack. This is okay but it distributes the weight away from your back, not ideal. If they could fix this in a 3.0 version, this pack would be the best pack value, not even close.
