Something about this "trailer" just really worked and got me more excited for the show than anything we have seen previously. i think it was just that they showed more. As I said in the video I wonder what more they have to show in marketing.

maybe they're moving and extending Zuko looking for Iroh when he gets captured, the moment in the market could be their version of Zuko choosing to find Iroh over catching Aang.

This really looked soooo goooodd. This is the best preview they’ve given us yet. This is the kind of stuff that genuinely gets me kinda hyped for the 22nd (Still gotta keep a lid on those expectations but it looks gooood) Also Elizabeth Yu looks soooo gooooodd as Azula. That firebending move with the two fingers is just iconic. I love her already

That would make sense to me too. Especially since Ozai looks like he’s in the throne room and he’s looking up at the person he’s talking to. So it could very well be Azulon.

lol so it’s okay for you to think that it’s going to be good but it’s unacceptable for other people to think that it will be mediocre, or god forbid even be bad. I got excited when I heard about death note as well as cowboy bebop and we all know how that went. Sometimes it’s best to go into things with low expectations, especially after getting hurt multiple times. Whenever I ask out a pretty girl I go into it expecting to get rejected, if i end up not being rejected then it’s a great surprise and if I do then it doesn’t hurt my feelings that much

If they are having an early screening that means there's going to be leaks and possibly bootleg versions of the show. So between Feb 15-22 be careful online if you don't want to get spoiled or if you want to find the episodes early you might be able to.

@@ronnies732 definitely, it sounds weird to say it like this but I’m really looking forward to the air nomad genocide battles. I’d hate to have it spoiled by who kills who and what methods were used in the fights. Think we’re gonna see some really dark bending methods that rival bloodbending in episode 1.

That would be interesting, bringing even more Book 2 stuff up into Book 1. The flipside would be that you are taking a scene away from a Zuko Alone adaptation next season.

Oh! Idea for the unknown scene in the market! Perhaps it's in episode 4 (Into the Dark). That's the one we have the least idea what they'll be doing with it. Maybe it starts similar to the Waterbending Scroll, but the Gaang and Zuko run into each other at the market on accident. The Gaang get away, but lose something, and Zuko takes it. Then Zuko meets Jun and uses whatever item the team lost to track them down again.

2 weeks to go. I've been following the live action's production since its announcement in September oh 2018. It's nuts to think that when it was announced I was a Freshman in High School and now I'm a Sophomore in College. It's been quite the journey. But the time has finally come. For the franchise, the live action never needed to happen. As an animation fan and animator I believe that still. But at the same time, this show is going to create so many opportunities for the young actors involved. So many new people are going to get into our beloved ever growing franchise. The future looks bright, and we haven't even seen the first thing from Avatar studios. It's just exciting.

The whole making Sokka “less sexist” thing honestly didn’t bother me and reason was because there are more aspects about his character worth building an arc around in a streamlined, serial version of this story. Ian’s brief description about Sokka’s arc pretty much confirms my prediction that they’re gonna focus more on developing him as a warrior and that’s good angle to approach his character from.

I think they made the form right at the moment from what we saw BUT about all the stupid wrong characterization of our heroes from the mouths of actors and producers is alarming. And this is the big issue here: WHY MAKING ALL OF THIS IF THE PROTAGONISTS ARE PORTRAYED WRONG?????
