I can’t believe I forgot this game was coming out, was SOOO hyped for it to come out but then other games distracted me I guess. Been playing it on my steam deck all day and oh my god I fucking love it, it’s proper hard too, like scary when I’m near death, I havnt died YET but even though I’m used to the first 2-3 minutes of chaos emerging, it’s still not risk free. And after 2-3 minutes of chaos emerging shit gets WILD and I always go back to the tower then cause its very hard to survive at that point, for me so far at least Also the fact that buying the game gave me a shadow wizard money game dlc outfit makes the game 10 times better LOL, I used the outfit cause it looks so cool.

This has potential. I actually can't decide if I should play it myself or ask you for a series on it though. Something meaty like this could satisfy the Dungreed slot someday IMO. Thanks for always covering the best roguelikes and roguelites if I haven't said it in awhile.

Reto, I want to give an advice which is gonna improve your fun with this and future games. Remember when you didn't want to swap out the bullets because you did not want to waste resources? Just waste it if you wanna change something. It's the same with consumables in many games. Min/maxing resources and consumables might be efficient. But you need to have fun, you don't need to have a sense of perfect efficiency. I did the same mistake often and had to force myself over months to break that habit. I'm so glad I did it tho. I hope this reaches you and perhaps resonates with you.

Hey, Retro. To rotate buildings you press V if using keyboard and mouse. I think there were info on key bindings in settings or part of the UI in the game. I noticed you struggled finding this button last time you tried it as well. Would love a series, maybe you and Wander will collaborate on some co-op content? Cheers

It’s defiantly fun and while it has take away from a lot of games so does everything else they have their own twist and the delivery of the time loop and chaos is fairly well thought and I hope you do end up doing a series because it definitely has to get better the more meta progress you make

Played this all day yesterday and rage quitted once bc I died and lost all my items in my inventory, but came back for the combat. There’s a decent amount of farming I had to do before I truly got into the game, but that’s warranted if you’re just starting. (Overall it’s been 8/10 after 6hrs of play)

Honestly, I think the best thing to relate to is Bastion (with the hour or two I’ve played). The music, the plot, the gameplay, the world, the evil force… really the only thing missing is the narrator. Yeah… I just convinced myself that this game is Bastion minus the narrator…
