Everyone prefers certain driving position and style. Hamilton, having won so much, must have one of the best "feelings" for his car. Would be stupid to not listen to him. He may not be as techie as N.R, but I'm sure he is excellent at explaining to engineers, who know the techie bits. Hope he can prove the doubters wrong. Doesn't have to win the Championship, but ibwould be happy if he's in the top 5 and close to Charles.

That's the entire issue with Lewis, he isn't really capable of adapting his driving style. He is really good with down-force monster cars that allow for short corners and late braking. However, he is in the same boat as Ricciardo in the group of drivers who have failed to adapt to the new regulations. Lewis' telemetry from 2021 Hungary was practically identical to that of 2024. He can't continue to drive these cars as if it's the W11 or his Ferrari stint won't workout either. A different car requires a different driving style and Lewis has not changed anything. You can't just keep sending it in as deep as possible and triangle off every corner, you actually have to carry momentum and higher minimum speeds through the corners in contrast to the older regulation cars.... which he simply hasn't adapted to and the data shows it. Yes, he has won a lot of races, but primarily due to having a car that had a ridiculous straight-line speed advantage because of how far ahead their power units were compared to the competition. That doesn't really say anything about his technical expertise or setup knowledge, which if last season proved anything, he lacks a lot of even compared to George Russell.. which is not a good sign. Please hold the "Mercedes sabotaged him" nonsense as well. He struggled to pass an ailing George Russel, in Mexico, who had no upgrades and front-wing damage for 90% of the race. Meanwhile, Lewis with upgrades didn't catch up until like lap ~68. Sure it would be cool to see him win an 8th championship, but ya'll sound like Dallas Cowboys fans. LeClerc will outperform him this year. Then it's basically a toss-up again with the new regulations in 2026.
