I just completed my Japanese reverse holo set with all 210 cards + 3 starter promo cards 059/060/061 SV-P. I started the set as an investment and it brought me back into the hobby like many others who experienced gen1. Not even 48hrs after completing the set and my YT is laced with 151 crash videos. Insert "everything is fine meme"

Yeah that side tab pulling apart is a sign of a resealed box usually. If you still have all the open packs look and see if the serial numbers behind the back flaps are all the same. They weigh for god packs and for the SIR but really cant weigh for the Masterball. I opened a box and seen plenty opened and this is what I found: You will get 15 pokeball reverse, 1 masterball reverse & 4 EX (RR) 16 holo rare, 3 illustration rare (AR) and a secret rare (SR). That secret rare is usually a full art EX card. The better boxes also get a 2nd (SR) which is usually a full art trainer or a special illustration rare like your Mew you pulled. That would have been the pack they were looking for if your box was in fact resealed.

Definitely picking up some Japanese booster boxes. I hope they reprint 151 in English, or they unleash some more stock they've been sitting on. 87% complete on my english master set. Great video as always! PS. Would love to pick your brain one day on marketing. I do it for work as well. 🙂

I’ve never opened a box of Japanese 151 couldn’t justify paying outrageous prices for one I honestly think the Korean version is really fun to open and way cheaper so if I don’t open English I’ll buy a Korean box here and there but that mew SAR is beautiful I like the Japanese cards better than any language especially because the texturing is just better in my opinion sick video tho man keep em coming I’ll always be watching and I need to get my stuff together and start recording again myself just been lazy lately 😂 fanggang!! For life!

Very nice box, Fang!!! Nice to see you ripping some Japanese. I haven't ripped Japanese packs in a long time so this was very cool to see. Congrats on that 151 UPC pack, haha! That was FIRE! Congrats on pulling a chase card from just one box. Definitely not an easy task with Japanese boxes the way they're seeded. I think the reprint was a smart move by Pokémon. Just letting the secondary market make all this money was ridiculous. I hope they do another wave, honestly. The timing of this drop didn't jive well with my finances so I had to reluctantly pass. If by some miracle they do one more wave of reprints, hopefully I'll be ready then. I doubt they'll do one more, tho. The fact they did this one so late after the initial release was a shocker.

I know 😅 I’m glad I held out. My motto is if I can’t get it for cheap it’s not the investment for me. I’d rather buy a bunch of something at msrp or less and hold on to it, than risk buying in at an already inflated price and hope it doesn’t go down.

@@PokeFangOfficial Amen. To be fair I bought a single box at 200 a while back. But now is a golden opportunity and I couldn’t help but pickup a lot of boxes (35) at around 80$ per. I had orders for 40 more boxes at 60$ per, but the sellers refused to fulfill those and canceled. (Through SNKRDUNK).

It means it’s a great time to buy with the best likelihood of it going up from $90 rather than going up from $250, the lower the floor price when you buy in, the more upside on the investment. Or it’s just more affordable if you want to open it up and get those chase cards 🍀🎉
