I agree that it’s def not older gen heavy, and that could be detrimental, but something to always keep in mind with modern is these cards and new characters are some kids future nostalgia. That, alongside the fact that some people will gravitate towards the art regardless of whether they’ve played the game/dlc or not. I get what you mean and agree to an extent, but I’d say def keep in mind these factors 💎

PokeFang doesn't know the banana song huh. My luck with this set wasn't great (kinda like every other set huh). Greninja box: Nothing. Kingdra box: 1 ex. Kingambit box: Fraxure IR. Don't think I'll be pursuing this set. I was really hoping to get either a Cassiopeia, Horsea, Zorua, or Houndoom out of my boxes. No luck, but that's okay. Maybe the next set will love me lol

Definitely lucked out in this first opening. I think the next set Stellar Crown looks really fun, but also pretty small so who knows what that will mean for pull rates. Best of luck though!

The best part, I believe, is that Pecharunt requires you to beat the base game, area zero, and BOTH DLC to even encounter. Don't get me wrong it's cool, but 90% of pokemon fans will have no clue.

Love this set and thew pull rates. Only repeating cards for me were Meowth/Eevee/Horsea otherwise super cool loots and a lot of reverse energy cards which I really like. twiLLight got nothing on this set

Totally agree! I've been saying that the problem is that people who are not playing the expansion sets, let alone the game, will have less interest in Shrouded Fable or even Twilight Masquerade.

I think it is so stupid that people complain about new sets featuring new pokemon. I mean, come on, Pokemon is a growing franchise with new generations coming out every couple of years. Off course they are going to feature these Pokemon and trainers. I love seeing the Pokemon and trainers that I know from the games show up in the TCG. I was anxiously waiting for what they were going to do with the loyal three and Pecharunt. When I saw the IRs in the Japanese set I loved them instantly. Just like I adore Hydrapple and Terapagos in Stellar Miracle/Crown. It is awesome. I do like seeing older Pokemon getting IRs and SIRs, but the set should focus on the new Pokemon except when it is very clearly market (like 151) to only focus on older Pokemon.

I know, I keep hearing it sold copies like crazy, maybe to a younger group? Not sure. Everyone I’ve spoken to in the collecting community is behind on the games though. They bought them but haven’t played 😆 I think Okidogi is a dog because they each have their animal in their name. It could pass as a bear though. When my dog Stella was a puppy she had black fur and a golden brown undercoat, we used to say she looked like a baby brown bear 🐻

@@edenplaysvideogames the best pull rates are in the small tins I guarantee you will find a hit in one of two boosters. I got 2 sirs, 5 irs and 3 normal exs in 7 tins and pecharunt promo.

Yeah I think everyone is having a different experience with the pull rates. So far mine have been good. I would say if you don’t feel compelled to pull them yourself, save the money and buy the singles. It’s the way to go sometimes. Especially if the prices are good.
