The hole is getting enormous, Brothers, and the chunky flakes keep coming, a great take. An echidna was crossing Lyall Road to Pioneer Park just above the Berwick Inn, just this arvo, what a brave sod of prickles! Another 500 metres down from us on the famous Ernst Wanke Drive were hoeing down on an ant-nest next to the roundabout, people stopping to have a look, and plenty of time to grab the young folk for a quick wildlife excursion. Good luck for large flakes and nuggets in the deep hole, maybe sitting on a layer of clay or a wide bedrock crevice, may need a tool the cross between a shovel and a bucket, like there is for beach detecting, but without the holes... umm, Pete!
