The hole is getting enormous, Brothers, and the chunky flakes keep coming, a great take. An echidna was crossing Lyall Road to Pioneer Park just above the Berwick Inn, just this arvo, what a brave sod of prickles! Another 500 metres down from us on the famous Ernst Wanke Drive were hoeing down on an ant-nest next to the roundabout, people stopping to have a look, and plenty of time to grab the young folk for a quick wildlife excursion. Good luck for large flakes and nuggets in the deep hole, maybe sitting on a layer of clay or a wide bedrock crevice, may need a tool the cross between a shovel and a bucket, like there is for beach detecting, but without the holes... umm, Pete! What an awesome day on the creek brudda's , good to see you put the detector's down for a day! Bloody deep hole, just gets better the deeper you go! Wanna watch ya don't dig to China! Wicked boys, a wicked amount. I know you can get more with detecting, but getting wet, cold, hot, and having a grouse take at the end is good eh? Thanks for the adventure again ❤ it!
