I'm glad I could turn up in your pan once again, or was me old mate?, of coarse it was me old mate, they love hanging around. I want to go wash rocks now, I might have to go find a dry creek to play in, gather some goodies and find a dam. Cheers Brothers

Cool video guys 👌 You work well together. Pity that there wasn't more gold in the pan, to reward that hard work, but that's the reality of prospecting 💯👍

Good ideas, Brothers, needs testing, refining the idea and methods, then retesting. No waders needed, but a giant skewer to poke for where the bedrock sits and any cracks and crevices, you've given me the idea too that seasonal and ephemeral creeks and gutters would be just as good at having rich pockets in or from gold ore-bearing grounds, but only the hardiest would try to work with a dry creek, but funnily enough, it was what Andrew Bales and mates did on the first episode back of The Weekend Prospector, but they'd taken a black plastic drop-sheet and brought water with them to pan in. He'd found gold at the spot just after he'd finished schooling decades ago, and repeated it with a few nice course bits, which makes sense if that much less water was churning for grinding down to flat flakes and specks, the pieces shed ought be bigger. Just dusty and hard to see, dry sniping! You've got me thinking dry concentrates, bring a skewer and brush smooth the deep bedrock pockets with the heavy gold fob watches and chains worth of yellow, what blowing to do for taking home only the heavy concentrates, the old-timers would let the wind do it, dropping dirt from on high, one pan into another. They'd cack their dacks seeing your highbanker, pump and dam! Cheers Scott and Andy, from Gabi of Narre Warren.

@twobrothersprospectingaus can also try some water runs along that bank or something I've done ok doing it myself early on in my hunts. Find clay with gravel on it and try the spots with iron stone.
