It's such a terrific album. They were a bit before my time but most everyone has heard at least the big hit off it and it's epic riff, the shame is a lot of people dont realise how good the rest of that album is.

I was born in 1975. I was glad to be raised with this kinda 70's music. By now, I've been impressed with the way DP expressed their music. High quality one. Every of DP members was such talented musicians: the vocal 🎶, the drum 🥁, the guitar 🎸, the organ/piano 🎹, and the bass. Almost every night I listen to their music 🎵 until I was falling in to my sleep and sweet dream. Roger Glover is an amazing bassist and singer, but he tends to live in the shadow of Glenn Hughes, the bassist/singer who replaced Roger in 1973, after he and lead singer Ian Gillan left the band. Glenn is now with The Dead Daisies (a kind of super group) and they are amazing!

I actually put America What Time Is Love by KLF in my last set of options to Austin - Glenn screaming over combined with rapping and Trance Music is a weird experience but also sort of epic.

I don't think Glover lives in anyone's shadow - he's the forerunner of straight heavy rock bass, and Hughes is more funky and standard, though a great bass player. 😊

@@ninoorjon I meant no disrespect to Glover, believe me. It's just that I hear so much about Hughes, but nothing about Roger. Glenn deserves the accolades, of course, but I do love Glover! I'm glad he made it back to Deep Purple.
