Look at that! JM, in Haiti we call the mushroom Djon Djon also. We make black rice with black Djon Djon. I think there are many common words in Haitian Creole and Jamaican Patois because we are from the same African tribes.

Congrats Mum ...please use the guava leaves 🍃 and the mango 🥭 🍃 leaves to make tea. Pick them wash them and put them to DRY in the sun then you can store the dry leaves for up to a year. Also the soursop 🍃 leaves. All have many excellent properties (nutrients) for the body. ALWAYS REMEMBER ALL LEAVES ARE TO BE DRIED BEFORE CONSUMING FOR TEA. Happy drinking. 🍵 ☕️ 🫖 Try to dry the leaves 🍃 during the FULL 🌙 🌔. Knowledge is POWER.❤

Big up Jamaican Uncle. Don’t forget to bring the plantain and breadfruit suckers back to the village. You can cut the plantain suckers small and you can also use the breadfruit root with the eyes on it. You can cut them in 5 to 6 inch sections for easier transportation. Wrap in damp tissue and foil to keep moist. I’ve even a technique to increase the plantain yield from 1 to 3 or 4 plants from one sucker. Best to fly into london or Zurich Switzerland when transiting so you don’t lose your suckers in USA. We can discuss on a video call one day my planting method. Stay blessed. I’m so longing to come to the village. We will link up Over there one day I’m sure. 👊🏾🙏🏾❤️
