Damn, Filus is on Fire this tournament. Really happy to see that, especially considering his current performance in the German League. But the comeback of Dimitrij Ovtcharov was impressive as well!

The frequency of switching between points is killing my eyes, had to turn it off by 2 minutes. Dude, a backhand serve or a push is not qualify for a rally, let alone of the greatness.... However I do respect the work they've done, it must be hard for the editor to cut 1000 times in a 6 minutes video.

Yeah! This is dizzying. 2 shot "rally" then cut animation. Now another 2 shot "rally", cut again...

For many shots the action is cut off too quickly and the transition appears. It can be disorienting.

I've noticed something curious to me. Why is almost every player, male or female, playing the forehand with the black and the backhand with the red rubber? I was wondering because in the junior categories im playing in many people including myself are playing the forehand with the red and the backhand with the black rubber. Can somebody help me please because im just curious if it makes any difference?
@hsiang-yulee38693 жыл бұрын
the rubber type is more important than the color, but black rubber can help you hide more when serving

Here’s the urban legend I heard: Back in days, black rubbers (especially the tacky Chinese rubbers) were believed to have better spin for the carbon particles used for colouring. Many top players used black for their stronger forehand, and fans followed their idols. If there actually was any difference or not, it has somehow become tradition.

Some of the camera angles from behind the players are great. The side shots not so much. The transition graphics killed my eyes though and i had to switch it off.
@nileriver59523 жыл бұрын
Horrible camera angle, you have to keep turning your eyes right and left to follow the ball, and in a very fast sport like TT, you will miss many movements, technical touches & skills that you want to see those great players performing. Old angle is for sure much better as you can both players at the same time.

is there a new rule? why people get yellow carded so often?
@lucasblender3 жыл бұрын
It's something about touching the table with your hands ( like when they swipe to get rid of the excess of sweat ), because it would potentially spread the virus. If it happens they'll clean the table ( probably with alcohol ) and may give the player a yellow card. If they continue to do that, they may get a red card and lose one point. It happened to Dima last week... he couldn't help but touch the table several times
@MrCooperscoopers3 жыл бұрын
@@lucasblender that's a pretty stupid rule. You can only use towel once every 6 points so how do you expect them to wipe off the sweat?
@animemusiclover_tsfh3 жыл бұрын
@@MrCooperscoopers It's ok to call the umpire, if your side of the table is sweaty. They will clean it. However, I also think that the rules are rather strict and they give yellow cards too early to players.
