Dealing with how to sing after transition has been a really hard subject for me. Initially I tried to feminize everything, and it just never worked. I even stopped singing for about a year... I had to learn to accept myself and my voice, both singing and speaking, before I could start performing again.

@@ForestRainMedia That's a very inspiring story! I'm ftm, and I had been singing for as long as I could remember, was in choirs and everything, but I hit puberty now and am not confident enough to do any of this anymore, but I hope I'll be able to sing again one day, after HRT perhaps! You rock

I don’t know if I feel accepting of myself. Dear sister how do you get through the day without judgement? I feel like that sometimes people will tease me because I see the world as a happy loving kind place. I even write stories that are so happy they make people sick. My schizoeffective disorder makes me live in a fantasy rather then in reality. I feel alone.
@TheDreameroflove4 жыл бұрын
I don't know you but I love you sister. I'm in a similar situation to yours. I have Asperger's Syndrome, and I used to believe the world was all cupcakes and rainbows, but after years and years of hurt and betrayal, I've learned that in the end the only ones you can really count on are your family, and God. My advice to you, don't lose your faith like I have, but remember that what makes you different is also what makes you special. Don't lose your identity because others tell you that you are wrong, stupid, or foolish, because it's your intentions and actions that matter most, not what other people think.

@@TheDreameroflove this song has consoled me many times as well. i have aspergers as well and i relate to derpy a lot. many people don’t see past my clumsiness and speech impediment.
