I would bet anything that you have more miles backing up then some of these so called super truckers in there automatic transmission freightliner cascadia running 2100 a week with absolutely no idea what it’s like to truck. You are the real deal. You remind me of myself so much. I’ve been in the cab of the truck with my dad and uncles since I was 2 years old. I’m much younger then you but I’ve been around this my entire life and I can completely relate to you. I’m sure you forgot more about trucking then I know but I’m 35 years old and have been around it my entire life and truthfully this is all I know. I don’t know what I’d do for a living if I couldn’t drive truck. I have the up most respect for you. Keep on trucking and don’t worry about these keyboard cowboy so called truckers. I love your videos and look forward to your uploads.

It's nice to hear an experienced guy just talking trucking, there's very few on KZbin. Most channels are tips from some inexperienced guy that's been at it a year or two. Giving there opinion of OTR vs Local or yet another Truck Tour of there Cascadia/ Volvo.. We get it it, there all lame... I filled in at Ken's Salad Dressing when I lived in Worcester when Ryder Integrated had it. That was mid 90's to early 2000's. It was the one of the best accounts we had then it got better..they made it that most warehouses only used lumpers and according to the regular drivers they didnt change the pay.. it could be a ball buster when you had to sort the load by yourself but even then it was a great job. TheBostonTrucker the golden rd goes from millknocket Maine to Quebec. It was built by the great northern paper co. To get the wood from the 2 million acres they owned. Yrs ago I knew a guy that hauled wood on that rd. He pulled two trailers at times. He said they tried 3. They were wide off rd trailers. I think he said they were 14ft wide and the stakes 14 tall. So around 25cd per trailer. The rd weight limit was 400000. He said it wasn’t if but when you would tip one over. Another thing that may interest you look up king Edward lacroix and his railroad. They brought it from Quebec across the lake on the ice. The two trains are still there at eagle lake. The last time I saw them was 20 ago went in on snowmobiles

If you ever go to Bangor me. Stop at coles transportation mesuem. Lots of old trucks. There is a cracker box cab gmc. It had a big tank on it 1500 gal ? They hauled oil or fuel to the county pulling a empty trailer. They hauled potato’s back. And it had a screaming 671 in it
