I love Great White too, sadly there are 2 versions now. I still take Jack Russell's Great White over the other version, he tackled his demons and has been sober now for years. He still sounds great too. I sing along to their old songs like this every few days, am a singer because I simply love to sing. But yeah this song definitely gives all the feels...

these were the greatest songs written. BUT, you had to have lived wham they were written, and sung. The times were different then...its REALLY hard to explain...but these songs reached the deepest parts of your soul as almost every song was relatable to thru either a lost love, or just simply a situation that you had gone though,or are going through at the time you heard them. for me,... this is what i grew up with... and i was privileged to see these bands live, and the songs sounded the same as the did on the "album"...i just feel bad for those who never had the chance to live then, to have hadlthe chance to see such a performance as these, all these bands once gave...i know i will NEVER forget the shows i saw!》

What an incredible song, what good instrumental arrangements, that guitar solo gives a lot of feeling to the song and that lyrics is for reflection. To hell with those people who say that glam metal is plastic music, these bands were and are incredible, these bands were made up of true musicians, from excellent instrumentalists to very capable composers. The 80s ended in years, but artistically they will be present forever. this song is 1,000,000 times better than all this modern "music". People, this is art, this is MUSIC.

+Sandra Moore Thank you and God Bless your heart. There is a tragic story, more so than you could imagine with this. Maybe one day i will come to grips with it. There have been many, many nights of thoughts of what i wish i could have done and the pain of feeling helpless. I encounter these again when i hear this song. She was precious to me. The comfort comes from the fact that i know that there is no doubt she knows how much she was loved and adored. I have found happiness again. The Lord blessed me with a sweet loving wife that i love very much. I have made a dedication to the Lord in my soul to let her know everyday how much she is loved and cared for and that there is nothing i would not do for her. I am so thankful and blessed. I do not speak about the horror of watching someone i loved so deeply die right before my eyes and being helpless to stop her suffering. i have never endured such mental strain it changed me forever. But, i would be remiss if i did not acknowledge what i feel when i hear this song. It is strange how beautiful it is yet torturous to my soul. My wife now knows what it did to me and we move on. But i will never forget the secrets that were shared and the love we had.

I'm fortunate to have seen them in 2022, and Jack Russell in 2023. In 2 different OKLAHOMA casinos. I have to say that both were such awesome talented men from my era of music. Im a true Metal Head. One of GOD'S true talented creations of the 80s

This song came out when I was a (foreign) college student in Los Angeles in the 1980’s. A true ballad about what was then the city everybody wanted to live in. No cell phones, no internet and Reagan was the boss. Different world… and yes, I miss it!

People try to call bands like these “1980’s hair metal.” A category that just doesn’t fit. I am 51, and for me this the classic rock of my generation. When someone said classic rock it would used to mean 1960’s and 1970’s rock. Tom Sisson
