@tonyreaudio6579 No, unfortunately, those days are gone. The 80s were wild. The scene will never be matched again. The music, the party scene, the concerts, and the money that was made in the industry were phenomenal. Today, tours are being canceled because of the cost and not enough profits involved. Back then, we bought the whole album and not just a song or two off the web. It's gone it'll never be like that again.

As far as mainstream music goes, you are absolutely right. Mainstream (chart topping) rock at that time actually took talent to create and the songs often had some sort of meaning or soul. Also, even popular groups didn't try to be so formulaic. I'd also include some mainstream rock from the early 90's. By '94 or '95 mainstream radio (rock radio) started going down fast.

I’m going to tell you a true story. In March of 2010 I moved from California to Lemoyne, Pennsylvania. My dad lived there. I had never been there before. I didn’t know anyone. I was totally alone and had to start from the bottom. I walked from my dad’s house two blocks to the local music store. It was called RRR Guitar. I walked inside and said “hi my name is Jason. I’m a recording artist from San Francisco.” The guy said”hi Mr recording artist I’m Randy and my band is looking for a singer”. He became my best friend. Steve Whiteman (Kix vocalist) gave singing lessons there. They were incredibly nice cool guys. I had to make myself get out there and meet people. I’m so glad I did. There’s always someone to talk to and you never know who you might become friends with.

Blessed I wasn't successful I have my beautiful 16yr daughter & my handsome adult 3 sons. God blessed me instead of taking me. Now I can listen to this song & I've let many many ppl know they're not alone. That's the meaning of this song, you're not alone, hold on there is ppl that love you. Very deep song...

I couldn't have ever forgiven myself if I hurt that many ppl. They were great kids, very talented kids with very brite futures. Again, thank you very much.
