Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach Vlog April 2019

Join us as we head to Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach to experience all of the fantastic rides on offer at this awesome sea front amusement park! In this vlog we share on ride footage from all of the major rides including the classic 1932 roller coaster. We also share POV's from the Log Flume, Family Star, Sky Drop and many more different attractions at the park.
2019 has seen many improvements to Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach including a complete overhaul of the Haunted Hotel Ghost Train. In this vlog we check out all of the changes for this year along with sharing our thoughts!

Out of all of the rides I've ever been on, nothing can beat the sound of the lift hill on Rollercoaster. Literally such an amazing sound. I also love the smell in the station. That might sound mad, but it just brings back so many memories, haha.

Another great vlog at another of my childhood parks. We always went to Norfolk or Lincs on holiday, so Great Yarmouth was always a highlight. I really must go back. We used to love the rollercoaster. I was always convinced I’d hit my head on that drop under the cross beams and Caterpillar was a family fave. Fantastic!

This was my first ever roller coaster. My folks used to take me and my brother on summer holiday trips to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. It’s changed a lot but that roller coaster is classic. Bringing back memories here, thanks for the content as always.

I remember a ride that used to be there called Condor, Must've been about 1990 . It used to go up proper high and you could see for miles, Never did find out what happened to it. Great video!

YES, THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! I loved coming here and me and my cousin went on a ride and were doing the lion king theme song on whirlwind XD, it was really funny it was so great and the rides aren’t bumpy they are so smooth and enjoyable!

Daughter has been riding rollercoaster since she was 2 as no minimum height restriction only over 90cm to be unaccompanied she loves it and can't wait to grow tall enough to go on the other bigger rides. She's very short g or 6 year old. Season ticket holders will be going lots this year.

I usually have a vacation here at Great Yarmouth, a 2 week one that is. We stay at a caravan site down by the beach, it's called Seashore Holiday Park. I heavily recommend it. I sure do remember going on the sky drop, really good that one was was.

Old woodies with brakemen are the best, my home park Linnanmäki has one from 1951, it's basically Rutschebanen from Bakken but it's a taller and longer version, wicked airtime. Of course you'll get to ride it later this year.

Great vlog as per usual! The ghost train looks fab! Can't wait to ride it over and over and over again haha! Where do you stay when you do a weekend trip to Great Yarmouth? I wanted to do a weekend trip and wanted to stay somewhere reasonably priced :D Next time you go you should visit the seafront "Hollywood adventure golf" indoor golf course with the massive windmill on it! I think you'd enjoy the cheesiness of it (it was an odditorium then a strange waxworks now an indoor golf) It used to be a beautiful theater and you can still see remnants of it, I think you'd enjoy it!

After living in Great Yarmouth for 15 years I can tell you that you went to the worse fish’s and chip shop in Yarmouth 😂😂 I’d suggest either the hinchenbrooke or fish and grill 😂

They used to have an identical ride to this at Barry Island. I went on it twice when I was 10 and loved it so I must get to Great Yarmouth one day and ride this one. It's a pity this one no longer has the plaster effect scenary anymore. Those metal sheets look a bit cheap. Maybe one day they will restore the ride to its original glory.

I have friends who live near the Pleasure Beach and they hate it (especially when the park is open until 10pm!) it's a high crime area and the noise levels are insane during the summer.

I remember riding the big Coaster with my dad circa 72 or 73. I thought it was the best thing ever, back then. I never did like the repaint to that Americanized theme though. Back then, it had a very scenic mountain landscape paint job. I also loved "The Ark" which used to exist right nearby, and which I spent many hours in during holidays. Do you happen to know if those Tyrolean Tubs were the only Viriginia Reel type ride ever to have existed in or around Great Yarmouth, or whether there was another around at the time? I seem to remember there being more greenery on the ride I was on, and the tubs maybe being in water, even? But this may be false memory. Loved the snails as a kid too. Looks like the original track layout?
