Because physically they generally cannot compete. Boys and men have higher testosterone levels giving them a large advantage in physical sports. Hence why men's Olympic scores and times are much higher and faster.

I think the point is that it is a more even playing field when you can separate by gender, and because what we are trying to balance is physiological difference it makes sense for there to be different leagues. As long as biological males have the muscle mass and testosterone advantage in sports it's probably a better idea to split them up. I would have to say though that if a player is skilled enough in the woman's league and wanted a shot with the guys there shouldn't be anything stopping them from competing with stronger, faster players so they can learn to improve against those opponents.

I played tackle football much of my life but I'm dedicated to soccer now. I am a male and I had this girl that was on my team from my whole football career. I always admired her because she was never the tallest, but she never backed down and she was probably our best player. I always looked up to her. And I always asked why girls didn't join football teams, or had a league of their own. I think this is an awesome thing that you've done.

Some of that weakness is social. It has been determined that a woman with the same body mass a man can develop 95% of the strength that he has. But we aren't encouraged to do so. A margin that small would make the physical encounter more about skill than strength. But yes, generally women are smaller and slower than men.. we just have the body fat to endure, e.g. women recover from marathons faster than men... interesting stuff really. But we stunt our own development. That being said, football is bad for the brain and yes a girl could play but no one really should if they care about their brain health long term.

The teachers immediately shut the whole thing down because "the injuries a young girl could sustain playing football could prevent childbirth in the future". I was raised to never hit a girl. One day at a scrimmage the other team had a girl on there team, she got to run the ball on a play, my friend hit her very hard and drilled her into the ground, she got hurt and her parents came out and started yelling at my friend and my coaches, eventually the scrimmage got called off. But 2 to 3 weeks later we found out that the girl had a sprained wrist. The parents were so mad, they complained to my district to not let my friend play. Unfortunately the girls parents got there way, and my friend was out of the league for the rest of the year. All I will say is if you are a girl and you want to play football with the boys you better be physically tough, mentally tough, and a team leader. Be prepared to take a hard hit, not a hit that stings for 30 seconds, a hit that makes you say "why am I doing this". Like I said I was raised to never hit a girl but if they want to be hit and they want to show people what a girl can do. You bet your ass I'm gonna show her what football is all about.

Girls often aren't allowed to join any sports labeled as "boys" sports. If your school doesn't have softball, a girl can't play baseball, of it doesn't have field hockey you can forget actual hockey. Also, seeing as how women's professional football is already a thing there might be separate rules in terms of game play/equipment.

I mean this is great and all but males have a immense biological advantage in sports like football, so by the time everyone has hit puberty and grown up, she will have struggles competing. She is good now because neither biys or girls have grow up and gotten legitimate muscle yet, so its basically just who can run faster.

I personally believe it will never be in high school based just on the fact that there isn’t enough space at most high schools to have this many sports during the fall. For example at my school men’s varsity soccer, men’s jv A team, men’s jv B team, and the men’s freshman soccer team. The girls also have all these teams. Then we change the sport to football. Varsity football, Jv football, and Freshman football. If we make a girls football team then we have 3 more teams that fill out our whole facility and we have a huge place with a football/soccer turf field and 2 grass soccer fields and 1 grass football field where would these 3 extra teams practice? The the second football field? No because when the boys soccer or girls soccer plays at home then we have to move to the second field. Not only that but many schools rely a lot on student trainers like my school we have trainers who tape and fill water bottles and so on they often stay close to football practice because it’s the most dangerous. I also who like to point out when would they play? Clearly not Friday nights and what other nights are people gonna stay out late and watch football definitely not a Tuesday. It’s just going to fuck with schools and in the end will where are varsity kickers go? 😂😂😂😂
