I have an eating disorder. When I’m depressed I can’t eat anything at all, it’s like I’m punishing myself. When Hannibal aired for the first time and I’ve seen his passion for cooking human flesh and his gorgeous tables my appetite also came back. So I would download the show in the morning and cook myself a overly delicious and nutritious breakfast and eat it while watching Hannibal eating his cooking 🤌🏻 I’m so thankful for her talent to made them look that delicious

​@@ihavenoidea3889 Was that as a joke? Because if it was? It was highly insensitive. They have an eating disorder. It is obviously their body image issue is LITTERALLY EATING AT THEMSELVES! By them watching the movie and watching the guy enjoy flesh they are allowing themselves to consume the nutrients they need. Why are you shaming this? It is a tool. Are they actually eating flesh? No! They are using psycology, ie the subliminal message that its ok to eat food, by watching the guy eat, to help them survive because they are not eating. And if that's not they reason for them using the movie to get the sustinance they need due to an eating disorder? WHO-ARE-YOU-TO-JUDGE? They are a survivor and they shared! Be kind. Maybe this info will help you understand their struggles and help you help someone. Perhaps a loved one, your child. The mental health issue of how one relates to their body: 'body dysmorhia', includes behaviors such as bulimia/anorexia/and others. This disorder is crewel as it tells you to believe in things that are not true about yourself. Add to it the societal pressures we are telling our children and society at large, as how to look in reguards to gender and its extremes, is also furthering the mental health issue of body dysmorhia to lie to you (this is not a statement to invoke trans bigotry. I am talking about how we push girls to meet MENS standards of beauty). This mental health issue is a double whammy of a combined propensity for poor body image issues coupled with societal shaming (marketing in particular directed at women). I hope this brings you a little info that would clarify as to why it is not appropriate to joke, or make light of, or shame someone who SPECIFICALLY SAID THEY HAD AN EATING DISORDER. Do better. These creations look awesome (in a scary/creepy way lol!). I'm not sure I could get "past the look" to ever give them a try. It reminds me of back when I was in my early teens, my sister and I decided to make blueberry baked-biscuits/scones for a family breakfast one Saturday morning. Recipe called for fresh blueberries which we didn't have....but we did have a pack of the frozen kind ...and we assumed they'd produce the same results. I am sure there must be a way to successfully use frozen berries in baked goods...but when my sister and I tried it, the berries basically disintegrated so that when the baking was done, instead of fluffy golden biscuits with blueberries embedded inside....we ended up with fluffy biscuits that were the exact color of moldy bread (we couldn't have done a better imitation of spoiled food if we tried!!)....They tasted fine...just like blueberry biscuits...and everyone was nice enough to try at least one...but I remember most of them going to waste 😉
