Since y’all are all literally sleeping on her, here’s all the adorable things Kat Bax (Bessie) did during this: - Lauren gave her a high five!!! - The thumbs up she gives to the crowd - She turns around and starts talking to Vanessa (Maria) like MA’AM YOU’RE WORKING - HER HOPS - HER BACKBEND DURING HER INTRO - SHE DANCES YALL!!! SHE DOES THE STEPS TO ANNE’S PART - The way she and the Cleves dance together 🥺 and when they shake their hair at each other!!!! - Just the absolute ADHD energy she exudes because she never sits still Anyway, people really need to start cheering for the ladies in waiting louder. I’ve seen at least one alternate every time I’ve been to a show, Six and other shows, it’s an alternates job to do the show when the principal cast member cannot. I was really happy to see Jen (again), as she and Jodie are both amazing! (This night Jodie was off ill) I think alternates deserve as much love as principal cast members.

Part of the appeal of Six is the alternates. Every actress puts their own unique spin on the role, I'd be disappointed if I saw it and didn't get an alt tbh. They're all so special and fun, and the talent it takes to cover so many different roles is insane. As someone who has listened to hours of audio bootlegs, megasixes, etc of this show, I can honestly say that my favourite takes on most of the roles come from alternates.
