Coyote rollers were originally made to keep coyotes out of your yard, but Rescue Rebuild has re-purposed them to keep dogs in their fences. This can be used in your own yard, or at a shelter!

I liked this idea until I clicked on the link and saw how unbelievably expensive these kids are. Although I personally believe our dogs are a member of our household and this is a necessary expense for us, this is completely prohibitive for 90% of families. It’s outrageous how expensive this product is, so no wonder people are making the DIY PVC alternative. I hope you take time to consider the cost of this kit that you are recommending. Greater good does so much wonderful work and gives out so many wonderful grants, I’m not understanding why it is that you don’t find a way to resource develop and sell kids like this on a More affordable basis. Single-parent homes, the elderly, or people with a fixed income cannot afford this and meanwhile those are the populations better than most likely dog owners!

Sadly, I’m certain my cats can figure out how to defeat this system. I’ve installed so many systems, to the tune of thousands of dollars, and they’ve defeated them all 😕

May I ask how come this did not work for your heeler? I am looking to buy this for my German Shepherd. I don't want to spend the money though if it does not work like it supposed to. I know the Coyote Roller website says your wall, fence, or whatever you are attaching it to must be at least 6 ft. in height. And of course the higher the better. I am still concerned though it might not work.

this is a buy a kit project not a diy how do u make the kit yourself man its $40 for a 4 ft kit thats ridiculous
