I truly feel as though The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra are going to be something I remember for the rest of my life. I've seen alot of fantasy worlds, all of them amazing...Middle Earth, Hogwarts, Yarhnam, Skyrim, Westeros, Thra.....but the four nations found a home in my heart that no others have. Aang and Korra took me on an intensely personal journey where I laughed, cried, panicked and cheered for the sake of all those I met. I learned so much about people, about life and about myself that I honestly believe I would be a different person were it not for what I saw. Everyone should go on this journey. Cheer for Aang. Feel sorrow for Katara. Laugh with Sokka. Carve your own path with Zuko, and become unbreakable with Toph. And when you've seen all you think there is to see, take on everything life has to throw at you head on with Korra and her friends. Life is love. Life is pain. Life is opportunity, and life is fleeting. We struggle though it all, but we do it together. And these two beautiful journeys are moving oil paintings of that struggle...applied by the steadiest of hands to the most familiar of canvases. Aang, Korra and friends. I know I'll never forget you.

This show is perfect. The art style is amazing, the soundtrack is unbelievably touching and shiver-inducing; the voice acting is impeccable. Growing up with the show made me get attached to the universe, virtually to the point I couldn't distinguish reality from ecstasy. I literally tear up inside listening to that beautiful Chinese erhu embedded in Jeremy's compositions. I have an immense attraction to ATLA and TLOK's OST. I want this music to be played at my funeral. ;_;

@@kinglobster7246 well not really, Kuviera was a good villain, and the civil war setting in season 2 was good until they ruined it, also I kinda enjoyed how Korra was in pro bending and how she showcased her moves pretty exciting to watch. If you'd never watch ATLA you wouldn't think it in the same way. TLOK was honestly a 7.5 to 8 out of 10 but ATLA was a 9-10 out of 10. If TLOK was its own show and wasn't a sequel to ATLA, maybe just another story that didn't relate as much to the aftermath of ATLA it would of been much better.

Out of all the shows/anime I have watched, this is the only thing in my opinion, is in a league of its own, The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra are pieces of art. I watched avatar when i was young so the nostalgia of the similar soundtrack and memories are killing me. I'm going to re watch every episode...it would be such a long time since I saw it for the first time but I remember so much of it.

I really wish they would've done a series or two of the old team Avatar (Aang, Katara, Sokka etc) when they were grown up and having children etc, but facing the problems that the world would throw at them well after the 100 year war. Maybe we would also see how Aang passed away a lot sooner than the other avatars, as opposed to reading the one line Nickelodeon released when Korra first aired.
