Excel is an interesting skill with it granting flat DR up to 12 DR when initiating and up to 12 during foes special so potentially up to 24 if both happen I can already see the potential of pairing this with Laguz Friend assuming Infantry can learn it, especially if we get and Atk/Def or Def/Res version of the skill

I think people are way too stuck on the old way of galeforcing. Fury initiator, WoM B-skill, and all that. When galeforce has become more flexable due to new additions like Young Emmeryn for easy-bake beacons, turn-stoppers so you don't even need to finish off the enemy team, and even Lapis from this very banner. Heck, with just how bloated the action economy is you can easily waste actions even on a galeforce team provided you have the right teammates. Take Lapis, for instance. Her purpose - as a melee cav - is to soften near saves for your other initiator units. For example, you send Lapis in, she chips the near save for 17+whatever damage she does, puts down fire tiles, and inflicts shared spoil. Then, you use her innate warping to send Winter Edelgard in; she now kills that near-save that she might have trouble with before, and thanks to shared spoils, still has all three of her actions left. Your team is now free to rampage unchecked through the enemy team. For even more silliness warp Young Emmeryn in as well with Lapis and get another mobile beacon to do whatever with. I feel people really need to stop shacking galeforce to the old archetype. There are other ways to do galeforce now; you can even do it with ranged units like Valentine Lyon, since whatever he doesn't kill just gets turned stopped and you can clean up next turn without any issues (and on a GF team it shouldn't be hard to pick off duo units/duo hinderance to enable his button so you could stop even more units on top of that). There's no need to be shackled to the old ways.

“Easy-Bake Beacon” 🤣🤣 The thing about the traditional Galeforce teams is how accessible it is. You can do it with very little investment and no specialty units. There are definitely some creative things you can do with units like Seiðr and duo Lyon. I’ve for an Emmeryn I’ve been saving for this exact thing, and I can’t wait to pair her up with Sharena.

ABSOLUTELY!! the strat is using W!Edel as the initiator/beacon and Sharonica as the cleanup unit. That’s a possible 7 actions between them.

Share spoils is a debuff on the enemy like exposure. If you take out the enemy unit afflicted with share spoils, you can act again. The space between effects is there to separate conditions, but it makes it feel like a separate effect from Share Spoils.

I'm so happy for you Joel! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed about not getting an Askr/Embla duo, and I die a little inside every banner we go without a Fatal Smoke 3 demote, but at least I'm happy about Nel existing. I love this banner for what it is: filled with interesting units that are somewhat niche, thus not mandatory for everybody else that normally wouldn't be interested on it. I am a bit at a loss about Embla's place though because, while she's definitely good in a vacuum, Freyr exists. Not only that, the best defenses have been moving into turn 1 aggression for a while now so at that point, I don't know how much of a threat blessable Severance really is. I keep a record of my defense replays just for decision-making statistics data that may eventually need, and since the post Ike revamp I made a month ago, I got initiated on twice. That said, I didn't think I could find a good use for M! Loki besides replacing my now dead weight Medeus but I did, so what do I know lol

Is it just me or would Lapis and Duo Sharena actually really well together? Like Lapis could solve the warping problem a bit and also could give the Duo an additional Galeforce maybe. Legendary Elincia could also be a friend I suppose. They just hate Gatekeeper/Myrrh’s I feel like haha.

Aww so happy for you Joel I really feel ur happiness as excitement as same thing happened to me too I was waiting patiently for years ajd years for a good actual Snacki alt for years and last year it finally happened and as my dream duo with her big sister so yeah geniuley felt ur excitement through the screen I'm also way too excited for duo Shar Vero as it was my seconr most wanted duo after Snacki so I'm so happy!!(⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)💖 Genuinely so excited Sharena got such a great duo with Vero my second dream duo is now real!!! \(⁠ ⁠ˊ⁠ᵕ⁠ˋ⁠ ⁠)/💖 I predicted this literally yesterday on twt like I'm so beyond happy Shar Vero duo is finally real they look so precious the art is so soft so cute it suits them so well and the little embla askr plushies absolutely adorable really shows how strong their bond is! 🥺💖 I've been waiting so long for this duo after they teased for it in book 6 ending movie and it finally happened after long awaiting I'm so glad th waiting payed off the way they each have askr embla symbol so cool and heartwarming they really share such a incredible bond I was literally shaking when they got revealed! ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ💖 And Embla looks really cool too omg I love her and tmhe outfit is so pretty she's gonna be terrifying but so fun to use the first actual bridal banner I'm really excited about lol!! :D Goodluck to you Joel hope you get all the Sharena merges!! :D💖 They're gonna be a future +10 project for me too they're so precious!!!
