I’m a young Colts fan, though I got to see Manning during his last years with the Colts, it was really Luck with whom I grew up with, it was such a trip watching him play, giving me heart attacks once in a while, he really was one of a kind, I really miss him, his decision of retiring makes me angry, but not at him, at the front office for not protecting that man, who carried the Colts for more than three years before actually having a competent rooster. Boy, the Colts, what could’ve been of this amazing rooster they have today if Luck was playing as QB. Hope he returns, but if not, it was amazing watching him play.
@kingkracker19982 жыл бұрын
ya but as a QB he needed to protect himself too. the injury that took him out the game were both on him. outside the pocket, taking huge hits. the 1 vs denver to rupture his spleen or what eber it was, he was outside the pocket running in thr open field and the last injury was off season snow boarding!!! neither a o line thing

My brother and I drove 10 straight hours to Indy for the wildcard game vs KC in 2014. In my mind, I can still picture Luck throwing the bomb to TY to take the lead to complete the historic comeback and feeling the eruption from the crowd. That's the only Colts game I've ever seen live and it's an experience I'll never forget. Watching those highlights just now brought all those feelings back

Man seeing some of those highlights of the first half of 2019 the colts looked like a completely different team. Brissett looked elite, receivers were in peak form, and everything clicked. Really hoping things look like that next season

GLTS I’m not sure if Brissett is the answer, but he sure looked a lot better before the injury. Interested to see what happens next
@joeysteinert25805 жыл бұрын
I think the Injury set him back a little bit, he just didn’t seem to click in the second half of the season. Playing against Pittsburgh, they were driving the ball down the field until he got hurt. All Receivers got hurt, Ebron gave up on the team. Let’s hope Jacoby can bounce back in 2020. I still have faith in him.
@jonesyokc5 жыл бұрын
The injury certainly changed him and the team chemistry. But also, it is hard to excel when pretty much your entire receiving team has been wiped out by injuries. I don't thin I've ever seen a team so banged up that their #4 or #5 buy was playing the #1 position. Combine that with Ebron being what he was and you have a recipe for disaster.

11:24 I am not ashamed to admit that I literally shed a tear when I watched this part. This play alone encompasses what Luck could have been. We will never know more than him, how it feels to know you were on track to be one of the greatest players in history, only to be taken down by the infamous ghost. The ghost that crushes dreams. The ghost that destroyed those "greatest" players, that you never have heard of. The ghost of inflicting injuries. I regret initially being mad when he retired so abruptly, I am just glad that he took care of himself, because in the NFL you can only push so far.
