The boldness to put the AFC championship game over the Super Bowl... but he isn't wrong.
@jonboo58525 жыл бұрын
The pats game was the Super Bowl and everybody knew it. Whoever won that game was going to beat and Rex Grossman lead bears team.
@gw41385 жыл бұрын
Yes exactly right. To comeback the way we did, in front of our home crowd, against those damn Patriots, who up until that point owned us in the playoffs. It was truly amazing. It will be very hard to top that game.
@jonboo58525 жыл бұрын
Gary Wayt we have to beat Brady and the pats in the playoffs again. Luck needs that on his resume. Not sure that will make up for the last 10 years or so but dang would it be nice to get the last laugh and send Brady into retirement after a loss in Lucas Oil. Maybe I’m just dreaming but why not!? Let’s go colts!
@gw41385 жыл бұрын
John Boo you aren't dreaming at all. Our team this year can definitely win the Super Bowl. And you're right, the best way to do it is to beat those damn Patriots along the way. I am very confident in our team this year. I know there are high expectations for this season and i think we will deliver. Ballard, Reich, Luck and company with a great o line. My only slight concern is the defense. Don't get me wrong, we are going to be great, but i think it's going to take a few games to gel as a unit. The defense is better than last year for sure, but we need experience playing together.

I was at the AFC Championship game. Single greatest live sports experience of my life and I've been to some epic events. The chowds in the building were talking so much crap at halftime and then scurried off like the rats they are as soon as Marlon picked off that weasel. The crowd leaving the Dome was almost SILENT. Everyone was absolutely EXHAUSTED. It was a great feeling compounded by the fact the SB was a lock vs. Rex Grossman. If it hadn't rained in Miami they would've put up 50.

Right, halftime was dreadful but, three fans was behind us, standing, drinking beer, saying "The Sheriff going to figure it out." And yes he did! Feeling inside RCA Dome was amazing. Never will forget that. They were selling COLTS WIN newspapers at the doors.

Andrew luck and Chuck Pagano are all but forgotten in indy. The 1994 rookie year of Marshall Faulk has greater memories. The 1995 colts run in the afc has better memories . Chuck Pagano was a good guy, I am glad he overcame cancer, Andrew luck was a good quarterback. But neither of these people will be held high in Colts history. Chuck was not a good coach, Andrew left his team without a warning. Neither one of them deserves accolades from the Colts fan base. Give me Gary Brackett, give me Jeff Herrod, give me Duane Bickett, give me Tarik Glenn.

@@CollinTelesz the 2 after. Put it at number 5. Wayne became the leader that game and Luck's potential as the franchise leader was fully realized. Also led Arians to coach of the year and 2+ HC jobs after. Also it spurred on the fanbase in the fight against cancer which led to a season bigger than football.
