A&Z #961 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs Great Plates' "Greatest Plate" XL Man vs Food Challenge at Great Plates in Tallahassee, Florida in the Florida Panhandle!! ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For food challenge #44, we traveled to Tallahassee, Florida in the Florida Panhandle so I could attempt and help kick off the new "Greatest Plate" XL Man vs Food Challenge at Great Plates which opened back in 2018. I had a 1 hour time limit to feast on 2 giant XL Great Plates (Seafood and Hibachi), 3 kinds of homemade eggrolls, a quesadilla burger, 2 sets of fried chicken wings (Parmesan Garlic and Hot Buffalo), an XL plate of specialty fries, a Blueberry Lemonade to drink, and a Strawberry Cheesecake Cup for dessert. I was trying to become the first person to win my $100 feast free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame. Thanks to everyone with Great Plates for the amazing food, drinks, desserts, and hospitality!! Thanks also to the great people who came up that night to watch and meet Katina & I!! We appreciate everyone in Tallahassee, FL and around Florida who watches and supports our efforts!!

Great Plates' "Greatest Plate" XL Man vs Food Challenge in Tallahassee, Florida ($100):
- Great Plates opened up in Tallahassee, Florida in 2018 and offers a very diverse menu!!
- Great Plates is known for burgers, wings, homemade eggrolls, seafood, and XL Plates.
- For this challenge, I ordered a quesadilla burger plus different sets of their chicken wings.
- Seafood Grill XL Plate - grilled salmon, grilled shrimp, and broccoli over a bed of seafood rice.
- Hibachi XL Plate - Grilled Chicken, Steak, and Shrimp over XL bed of egg fried rice & broccoli.
- The two chicken wing sauces included Parmesan Garlic and Great Plates' Hot Buffalo Sauce.
- XL Specialty Fries - "40 Drip" Chicken Fries loaded with grilled chicken, cheese, and sauces.
- 3 different homemade eggrolls - Philly Cheesesteak, Buffalo Chicken, and Seafood Eggrolls.
- I enjoyed a Blueberry Lemonade and the dessert was required - Strawberry Cheesecake Cup.
- There is a 1 hour time limit. Winners get the $100 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and Wall of Fame.

Yeah, I noticed too from this video that his body shape is not looking quite as healthy as it once did, meaning he's not exercising as much as he really needs to for being a professional eater. That happened to me too (to a lesser extent, call it "covid fat") but now that gyms are back open I've been going for a couple of weeks and am already feeling better. I just have to find a way to stay motivated as nobody I know wants to be my workout partner, but perhaps I can get motivation from Randy.

Best peel-and-eat shrimp I’ve had were in Florida. This summer my wife and I took a vacation down to Lauderdale by the Sea (north of Ft. Lauderdale proper) and ate at a place called 101 Ocean. Nice little spot with an open air feel and they also do a nice grouper sandwich.
