They had some work to do on our roof and they hired this mobile crane for half a day. This is how it looks when it folds to move on to the next site...

That's a cool machine! Love how one guy can operate it. Thanks for this!

Very cool machine. I also like your colored letter intro; it reminds me of the original Apple colors from the 1970s.

What an incredible bit of engineering that is!

Superb piece of dynamic geometry at work. I suppose the next thing will be reconfigurable robots, changing themselves for such purposes, and many more?

Epic.

It looked like it was bending and about to break at any time when it was folding up. Thats a really impressive mechanism but looks fragile.

Amazing junk to play with!

That’s very impressive! I suspect there is no cup holder in the upper cab, or if there is it keeps the correct orientation ;)

I was thinking that the operator could have taken a well deserved nap after the fold if he kept sitting there.

In fact the crane cabin can go up and down like an elevator. No need to climb ladders....

No junk at all, this crane!

At first glance.... It doesn't look right! Almost like like it was going to collapse in the middle but I didn't see those cables... Any way you look at it that is impressive especially considering the main upright isn't concreted 20 meters below the surface

Yes, if it was sped up even more it would look like one of those fail videos...

Wow! How many channels does the remote control use 🤣
@PlaywithJunk8 ай бұрын
I don't know, but he has at least two controls. One for the entire crane and a small one for the supports.

I wouldn't want to drive one of those. The steering looks really heavy (you can see the driver's hands at 5:33) and part of the crane is directly in front of the windscreen, obscuring your view.

At 4:37 it doesn't sound healthy.

The video is sped up, so I naturally thought this was a Lego crane.

In normal speed it would take 20 mins to watch.
