Dark Jerseys are HOME. Dark Jerseys are ROAD. Dark Jerseys are HOME again. WTF.??? The White Jerseys belong as the HOME - it's more logical. Wish these leagues could get their act together.

This was done intentionally in some seasons back then (for the entire season) so the home fans could experience the away jerseys. There was no 3rd jerseys back then like they have now. In '69-'70, the teams wore dark at home.

@@heyholetsgo5100 Yea, but now the whites are just for the ROAD which is not the correct way. NOW, every Black Hawks game the home fans see RED and WHITE teams which is stupid. If the whites were for HOME then the colors would always be changing depending on the visiting team.

The assumption is that there is a "correct" way. It's all arbitrary. Historically, teams usually wore white at home. Though not always. Things are different today. It's all about marketing and selling more merch. The NHL of today. Blame Bettman.

I always liked white jerseys for the home team. As my father used to say about westerns, "The good guys ride the white horses."

@@heyholetsgo5100 There really IS a CORRECT way. Who wants to see the same 2 color teams at every game. When Boston is in town I want to see black. When the Rangers are in town I want to see blue.
