You know despite how inaccurate these documentaries were (this one in particular) it was the start for me to loving military history, and made up my childhood. Despite it flaws, I still enjoy it.

@@Cooldude-ko7ps the stories are real, the tank descriptions aren’t horribly inaccurate but they seem to round the numbers a bit. I remember an abrams shooting apfsds and it showed a rocket behind it. I was like wtf?

I like how they’ll say the 75mm is strong on one tank but the same gun on a different tank is weak because ???

@@yoboitim7624 And it depends om the conetxt of the battle too. For example the Sherman's 75mm gun was effective against Panzer IIIs and early Panzer IVs in North Africa, but was much less effective against Panthers and Tigers.
