Very insightful discussion of middle game plans. The games never develop exactly as Masta Kaspa shows, at least for me, but having an understanding of the overall plan allows me to be flexible and respond to conditions on the board. The secret is in how your knights move, as Kaspa reminds us. At my low level, I see mainly e4 but now I will have a plan for those rare d4 openings.
