I love this movie! Being 62, by Carousel Law, I'd be twice dead now😆 unless I had taken my chances as a runner. Noticed no mention or shots of Farrah being in the movie. That's sad. God rest her soul🙏🏼

This looks great! I noticed the yellows running around more and that all the Sandmen have the same haircut except for Logan whose hair is combed the other way. Nice subtle touch.

Adam, thanks for the comment. The complete audio can be reconstructed, but I only have a few seconds of the missing video. I've held off in hopes of finding more pics or video for that scene before attempting a reconstruction.

I saw it in the theater in Champaign Illinois, maybe ten times. Read the book about 50 times, there were naughty words in there! Then the TV series with Donald Moffat and that hovercraft abortion they had. The girl was gorgeous too. Loved it!

I think the fascination I have with this film is that is is one of the last big budget scfi movies before star wars. For better or worse, Star wars changed the entire method of producing these kind of films. It was really awesome to see this documentary. I had no clue the carosel scene was all in one place.

Quick Question: am I remembering something called the Dazzle Chamber correctly. Is there a quick shot of that or is it a light effect for carrousel (the spinning thing).

I believe the spinning thing is an effect for carousel. I recall Michael Anderson saying that a Dazzle Chamber set was constructed using mirrors and reflective tape. However, they decided to skip filming the Dazzle Chamber sequence because it was taking forever to get the camera positioned to NOT see a reflection of the camera and crew.

It is on the Blu-ray but from an inferior source (i.e. it looks quite a bit worse on the Blu-ray).
