For me, the best street photographer who ever lived. His command of natural light was outstanding and no one has ever come close to his quality.

I agree 100%. This is the first time I have seen any of his work but now I am a big fan. As I watched each frame appear and then the next, all I could think of was, "there's a lot of people trying (or have tried) to do what he has done and nothing I've seen comes close. The light, the shadows, the humanity; he did it like no other.

He was an artist. Notice that todays cheap cell phones produce pictures with more detail and a wider range of contrast than these. And he did these without 20 frames per second or zoom lenses. Yet we prefer looking at these rather than cell phone shots.

I echo the praise of other posters. Look, there are a lot of revered photographers who I just "don't get", but I just love these pictures for their composition, geometry, angles and perspective. I almost don't care about the specific figures in them, it's the overall "look". It just goes to show that you don't always have to get right up close to get an excellent street photograph.

I'm really, really loving what you're doing by presenting these "great" photographers! For me, it the experience would be even better if you were a bit more careful, and ensure that there are no duplicated images. In almost every episode that I've watched, there have been duplicates. Looking forward to your continued success in bringing even more "great" photographers to us all!

Terrible presentation. Who wants images flash by so fast giving you no time to study and see what caused the photographer to even take the shot. This would be better in click to view each image. For me to look at and study each one this would take me at least a couple of hours to enjoy the images.
