The narrator is an obscure actor : David Suchet ? Not sure what he's actually done in his career ?His French accent is fairly awful . His Russian accent is even worse .!

Presumably a reference to the Germanic realms- either Germany ,or Austria Hungary although both had ceased to be "Empires" in 1918.

This isn’t the Agatha Christie short story The Capture of Cerberus from her book The Labours of Hercules. What rewriting is this?
@Greatstoriesyoulllove
@Greatstoriesyoulllove Жыл бұрын
This was the rediscovered original version which was found in 2004 when 73 of her notebooks were unearthed at her family home. She rewrote it for the version you know. Hope this clarifies things Mick.

@@Greatstoriesyoulllove Agatha Christie may have been right to put it away for a while. I like the other stories in the Labours of Hercules . But her characterisation of Hitler was not diplomatically suitable before the War or PostWar . So I join Ron Pearson

@@Greatstoriesyoulllove Thank you so much for posting these Agatha Christie stories. I thought that I had read most of her works, but I have been pleasantly surprised to hear some of her stories that are completely new to me. Bless you for doing this for us.❤️ I am now severely disabled and your KZbin channel has given me great pleasure and hours of real enjoyment. Thanks again. All my very best wishes from Rose.❤️👏

Well Fraser narrates his own character - Hastings - and Suchet IS Poirot so not sure how narrating a book differs from speaking the lines in a movie/TV series
