On Wednesday's edition of Felger & Mazz, Greg Bedard of the Boston Sports Journal, explains how at the end of the day Bill Belichick was the individual who drafted Mac Jones. This comes on the heels of Michael Lombardi stating that Belichick wasn't all the way in on the the player.

He’s not starter material anymore, at least not here, as much as that sucks to say. He needs a fresh start, I just wish things could’ve worked out, cause he carries a good vibe and seems like a genuinely nice guy. But, morals don’t matter if you can’t execute.

It's the main reason why Bill had to go. Not only did he break a once promising qb, but chances are the Pats will need to spend a high pick on another young qb in the near future. I just don't trust him to draft and develope a young player.

I don’t know why you guys don’t do a deep dive. Bill got an attitude after losing the Brady Jimmy G decision and from then on he started to dismantle little by little the team to force Brady out and he did the same to Mac.

@@mslay-ultra1802No, he is right. Bill wanted Jimmy G to take over for Brady eventually. Kraft intervened and forced Bill to trade Garropolo to show comittment to Brady. Bill did not get his way with that situation.

Mac may not be incredible but a good team coordinated by a good gm with a good hc would at least be able to have a decent record. In the end these people try to pass the buck to mac when obviously he wasn't the reason the pats fell so hard.

The last 8 years of the Patriots played out like a Korean Melodrama. So many twists and turns. Someone should make a movie or better yet a 24 to 48 episodes (1hr/per) series of the Patriots Dynasty. Netflix should approach Kraft and if they get the deal, hire a South Korean's director or directors to direct this juicy melodrama.
