I guess this could also be a nice content idea: viewer submission MOC glow-up. Some people (like) me keep some MOCs around for years and keep updating/upgrading them. You can make a side by side comparison of the first version to the latest and it really shows how the builders has improved

"There he is fighting Nocturn for some reason." I suspect he was supposed to be a Hydraxon MOC that was more in-line with Hydraxon's canon lore.

2011?! And now I feel old! Honestly Cossy, you should really do a revamp of your Tahu Stars MOC, he looked truly amazing in 2011 but I cannot fathom how more amazing he could be with your acquired MOCing experience today!

It's so fun to look back at old mocs like this to see how your style and skills developed. I wish I had taken more pictures of my mocs when I was a kid.

Yes please to part 2 of this video. LOVED your “old” Mocs so more would be most appreciated & welcomed. Great photos of you too 😊😊

7:49 oh I remember I believe it was meant to be a glatorian version of Tarduk. Also seeing this reminds me of reading the comic you and a bunch of other moc pages users had made, such a perfect time capsule of that period in the Bionicle fandom.

Oh man, I absolutely adore this video. It's a time capsule, and I'm just so happy you were brave enough to share these old builds with the world when so many would try to hide them away. My philosophy has always been to accept the old builds because they're what helped make you the builder you are today, and while that doesn't mean they aren't cringe inducing or just straight bad by today's standards, you were proud enough to share them on the Internet of all places, you can still be proud of them today. It's why I'm so sad that MOCpages got hacked and images were lost, and especially now that it's gone with exception to any surviving Wayback Machine captures because all of that history is gone for some folks that never saved the images on their own computers or external drives because of space and budget. And there's some genuinely great stuff in this video. There were things that had me going, "Wooooooah!" Simple as some of them may be, there's still some good stuff like that Hahli revamp, Sandstalker (I saw more Embo than Cad Bane, but still, gotta love both of those guys), I love that Lewa Tank Buster, and emo apocalypse Axonn is just to die for, in both build, but especially concept. It's so of the time, and also totally not, and hearing about the edgy teen years is just the best because I know I was totally the same even though it's absolutely the opposite of my actual personality today. Oh, and the photography, I mean, for the first couple years on MOCpages, I was just sticking with a makeshift table on an old Vanity with a towel over the mirror so I could take pictures. Such a throwback to that. I remember having someone tell me how to take better photos and I was like, "This background isn't distracting, shut up." I'm still using this setup as a work station, but I obviously did eventually get some nice paper and fixed the lighting. He was right, but you know, I knew what I was doing (I totally did not know what I was doing.). And I have to point out the most Australian thing is right at the end of the video. Hearing you were, "Right Mad," about Hero Factory was such a perfect way to end the video. I've been going through all the Mr Sunday Movies videos I never watched before subscribing for awhile now, so I've picked up on some of the lingo, and just hearing "Right Mad," was splendid because we don't have anything near as good in America. We're just, "upset," "pissed," "very angry," they're nowhere near as fantastic as "Right Mad." I wish I had an alternate account just to give this video another like, it's wonderful.

aw yeah, mocs from Ben when he was my age! awesome! I love that these have plenty of playability and articulation, I like to have room for playing and posing with my bionicle mocs, and I would loooove to see more of these, these are so fun! I may also do a bit of fan art of a few of them that I might email to you, because I do reeeeally like some of these designs.

Making do with alternate pieces is how I finally got a Tarakava. Always wanted one, but really only wanted the teal one, and didn't like how pricey the teal kakama and nuva feet are. So I bought the teal Miru and some teal throwbot heads instead! It still looks very much like a Tarakava, but I didn't have to pay through the nose for it, and I spent that money on other Bionicle parts instead.
