6:33 Ooh the slender build the use of wings on the lower back and the classic Lewa blades, really goves Lewa some praying mantis/ grasshopper vibes. I love it.

I envy those people who have such unofficial masks, it’s very cool and prestigious

"This mask barely looks like bionicle" that's because it isn't. That's a bonehead of voodoo island, one of the ideas bionicle started out as. The head designs looked a lot stranger and more humanoid, because they were intended to more closely mimic heads that would be punched off. Pretty violent, which is why the idea was later changed to masks (you recall how early bionicle had the gimmick about removing your opponents mask) Might be interesting to explore the theme in a video, although there aren't really any good images of the characters, and what you see does look quite rudimentary

prototypes and misprints are always fascinating to see becuse how much mocing potential they have.

So neat! My favourite is probably toa Pahru, the parts used for the body are so great! Love the usage of the toa Mata foot as a torso, the piston on it isn't put to waste with an actual torso articulation point. The slizer heads are great knee pads too. I'm definitely taking notes here

I want a yellow ruru so bad, it’s by far my favorite mask and yellow is such a good color to use in Mocs

Those masks are awesome! Itd be cool to hear about how these people got a hold of these masks, but i understand not including that in the video. Thanks for sharing all these cool parts in one concise place!

The blue-white miru is kinda funny to me, because it looks like it's wearing a toupee.

The mask at 3:11 looks like a combination of the Kanohi Calix and Iden. It has the big eyes and wide cheeks with comparatively small chin of a Calix, and has the weird circles on its forehead that the Iden(and kind of Calix) have on their chins.

This just makes me envious about the people who have those parts lol. They're so cool! Envy aside, cool MOCs! 😁👍🏻

If I had one of those prototypes with the number on the front. I would paint the numbers in a different color to have it be more like a face tattoo. would be great for a cyberpunk MOC

I don't really get what you're talking about with the second prototype mask not looking like it's from Bionicle. I get that it'd be out of place with the Toa Mata. But if I didn't know any better, I'd think it was one of the Toa Inika's kanohi, since Jaller and Kongu's also have very human aspects.

I have to wonder if some of these recolors are just the design teams messing around one last time before the molds are put in storage and then eventually destroyed because they know these parts are just being used the one time in the one color.

8:51 : wow, i NEVER expected someone to use the canister top part of the visorak in a MOC... Hey, this is even an idea for a future video : bionicle mocs that USE the canister or a part of it INSIDE the moc...

Bro straight-up couldn't find a MOC that uses one of the mask examples and had to pull up an unrelated one to say "wouldn't it look so cool on this?".
@TransDrummer13125 ай бұрын
Yea cuz some of them don't exist beyond the resin prototypes made by Lego, prototypes that likely were LONG ago destroyed. Also some of these prototype masks like Bitil's reverse colored mask is likely the only one in existence. The likelihood of any of these masks getting into the hands of the public is absurdly low, to the point of being impossible.
