Greece by Motorhome 2022 Part 5 - Pelion Peninsula and Meteora

We leave fabulous Delphi behind and head north east to the Pelion Peninsula via the ancient site of Thermopylae, where a small number of Spartans held back the Persian hordes. We explore Pelion and it's rugged Eastern coast, before heading to Meteora where our minds were well and truly blown by the staggering geology and ancient Monasteries perched atop the rock pinnacles. This trip just keeps on giving.

Love your trip around Greece, disappointed did not see more of Thermopylae, I hope to get there one day. Only down side to the video is the music.

Hi Roy, we loved this trip. We are glad you have enjoyed the video, very sorry it was not enough about Thermopylae for you. It was a very interesting place, we thought of staying overnight, but changed our minds. We do agree with you that the music could be a lot better.

If you come again Greece visit Zagorohoria in Ioannina. Its amazing place with too many beautifull vilages to explore Aristi, Big Papiho Small Papigo,and the Canyon of Vikos the biggest in all the world.

Thank you so much Cheryl, the food was particularly delicious. We often had our meals at the local Tavernas, often a family business and if they didn’t have a menu or didn’t speak much English, they would invite us into the kitchen to see what was cooking and we could choose there. We did not have any problems ordering food 😀

Hi, so glad you're enjoying the videos. Little Bill is a Honda SH Mode 125, and we are very happy with him. At 116kg it's one of the lighter 125 scooters and bowls along happily at 50 mph with both of us on there, perfect for local journeys. Really was a game changer. Happy Travels.
