Spending New Year's in Athens is a memory I'll never forget! We went to this local restaurant, and the hospitality was amazing-the owners invited us to dance, we even smashed some dishes (a first for me!), and it honestly felt like we were part of the family, not just tourists. The people there are so warm and welcoming. Oh, and don’t get me started on the oranges-best I’ve ever had! Greece really has a way of making you feel at home.

Greece is a country that everyone must do some time in their life. The country with the biggest and most ancient history you will see things that will blow your mind. I often wonder how the Greeks so long ago, ( many thousands of years ago ) did the ruins with no tools we have today. Genius! Everything in Greece is like out of this world. You have never seen such beauty,fantastic seas, foods so delicious. As a foodie I love food and if it not the least amazing in taste I won’t eat it much. But in Greece foods are fantastic! Tomatoes so red are what you will eat as fruits. They are so sweet and so delicious. Sweets,pastry, milk ect . Everything FANTASTIC!!!! I love Greece and it is the best destination at any season. Oh my goodness this video is beautiful!!! 😍😍😍 My husband and I are heading to Greece in a few hours for a six week stay and we're so excited to be in this stunning part of the world again. My hubby is Greek-American and we haven't visited Greece since before the pandemic so it's going to be lovely to be back. No words can describe how special this country is, the Greeks are so friendly and welcoming, the cuisine is delicious and watching the sunset over those ancient ruins is out of this world 🌞🍹😍 🇬🇷

The Trojan war did happen but the legends of Achilles is actually a myth, possibly there was a soldier named Achilles, skilled with the sword but he wasn’t immortal. However I think you would be most amazed during the age of Classical Greece. It was the time were basically Athens had it’s golden and was the most advanced civilization

Our trip to Greece this Spring was incredible. The Greek people were awesome, sightseeing, architecture, food, and accommodations were excellent. I highly recommend renting a car so you can spend as much time as you want touring. The museum was pretty good; however, I hope someday the Getty museum in Los Angeles, California, returns the museum treasures back to the Greek people. My $0.02.

I'm not from Meteora, but seriously, we must advertise it more and better. Not only Athens, Islands, Delphi etc. I remember went there when I was young because my sister's husband is a climber. Extremely beautiful place. We also became one with tourists in the same hotel and we've had too much fun. Ah! Unforgettable. Nostalgia.

I’ve been to one half of the mentioned Greek places in the video. It truly is a great country to visit, the ocean is warm, the food is very healthy and the people will welcome you. You have to learn a few Greek phrases which will help you. Also when I’ve gone there are less tourists then you find in Italy or Spain. Best time is late Sept. or May for me. From D. Doukas

The names of the various places need to be pronounced closer to the Greek authentic pronunciation. Some of the pronunciations were difficult to comprehend even for a Greek like myself.
