After the show aired, Robert went on facebook to whine about how the show made him look like a liar and a thief. So in the end, he learned nothing, and is STILL blaming everyone else for his own wrongdoings. Typical. The hotel continued to lose money until it was foreclosed on, and both Robert and Ari fled. His employees simply showed up one day to find the building abandoned, and that stupid RV nowhere in sight. I have to assume they didn't bother to send the team their final paychecks, either. Ari was later arrested and jailed for assaulting a police officer. The building lay abandoned for several years, and the people who bought it on auction said Rob and Ari had absolutely trashed it. There were even dirty dishes left sitting there in the sink! Thankfully, the new owners are actually competent this time around, and the hotel now has rave reviews under its new name! As for the Wonder Twins, I don't feel sorry for them. Frankly, I hope Robert lost the very shirt off his back. Ari is out of jail and his facebook page is active, it seems he's still with Robert and they do unfortunately still have that ridiculous RV. However, the very few photos of their main residence look like they may live in a manufactured home now? Definitely cheap-looking, given the very very few shots of the front and the interior. So there's that. But, can't confirm it.

She always lets us have the tips, even when she's working with us. When it's really crazy busy she'll throw an extra 20 in the pot or get us lunch. The business is still small, and I don't think she'll ever be rich. But she truly cares about her employees and does what she can to take care of them. Gives away rooms at his hotel, food and alcohol to his "friends," taking money away from the business and out of his staff members' pockets 2. Takes a percentage of his staff members' tips (but don't worry, everybody: *only* on nights when he also works...) 3. Tries to justify it with a patronizing, bullshit excuse about it being a motivational tactic for his staff, as though they are children that need to be reprimanded 4. Has his mail-order lover lie about it all when keeping the books 5. Throws his "friends" under the bus by insinuating that they were supposed to tip, and never did 6. Tries to con (at least) one of his friends into giving him *more* money when she calls him out on his bullshit 7. Cries about it all, like he's somehow a victim. Did I miss anything?

My old boss/owner was very keen on never taking any portion of my tips as a waiter. Since I made 10/hr (she refused to pay anyone a “servers wage” because she believed it wasn’t right nor fair to rely on tips to make up the difference) so I’d split the pot with the cooks, and whenever my boss was helping me serve for an event she always dropped another 20-50 dollars in my tip jar for working extra hard. I came to work early every day and listened to every word she said because I respected the hell out of her. Now THAT’S a damn good owner. Let’s hear it for Deb!
