look at everything that is fast food and you can buy it on the street, like pittes, i.e. pitta with cheese, with minced meat, with cream, or pitza pieces, are made by the factory, so very bad quality and cheap materials, ok you won't die from it, but the taste is very low, there are shops that make homemade stuff, you pay more but the quality is better, they use original sheep's cheese, cream made from vanilla and not baby cream from China original minced meat, pitza made from fresh material, and the best thing is if you want to eat, go to a small shop outside the center, look for homemade stuff, ouso shop, geradiko, taverna has good food, this is Greece not the tourist center, have you ever had sheep's cheese in aluminum foil with green pepper and marjoram baked on charcoal fire? Suvlaki on charcoal and not on an iron plate? sheep on skewers traditional, 5-6 kg goat kid on skewer, you want nothing more in your life, not fast foot

I grew up in Michigan. I was there for only 10 days. Went to Crete and Athens. Loved it. Hope to come back soon! Way more fun than Turkey!
