I am a fun of pasta , so I have many packages. My favorite is that ''κοφτό μακαρονάκι'' . I use it to make chicken and octopus.

Also ''χυλοπιτάκι'' and ''κριθαράκι'' are very famous for making ''γιουβέτσι'', meat or chicken with tomato sauce in the oven.
The most greek and traditional kind of pasta you 'll find in my cupboards, is ''τραχανάς'' . Boil it with some butter and milk and then add some feta cheese on the top.
Apart from pasta , in my cupboards, you'll find different kind of rice. I use carolina rice to make ''γεμιστά'' and glace rice to make soups , such as ''γιουβαρλάκια αυγολέμονο''.
Of course I keep honey, toast and greek coffee for breakfast and olive oil.
And for the end I have different spices: greek oregano and cinnamon are my favorite.

Remember in Thessaloniki at the youth hostel they shared a bit of their grandparent's sweet liquor from flower petals, reminded me of a rose scented liqueur I once had in Bulgaria, and cherry liqueur from France. Had a couple of times in northern Greece so not sure if a northern thing but for me by far and away my favourite drink in Greece.

Ωραίο βίντεο Αλεξάνδρα μου! Πιστεύω ότι στην Αμερική το κοράλλι το λέμε elbow macaroni. Η ξαδερφή μου μου έδωσε τραχανά και χιλοπίτες όταν ήμουν στην Ελλάδα τον Αύγουστο. Σου αρέσει η μακαρόνια για παστίστιο; (Μίσκο). Έχω τα όσπρια που μας έδειξες, επίσης, έχω τη φάβα. Μου αρέσει πολύ η φάβα. Η κομπόστα ονομάζεται compote στα Αγγλικά. Η λέξη είναι από τα Γαλλικά. Μου αρέσει πολύ το ταχίνι, αλλά όχι για το πρωινό. Το χρησιμοποιώ στο hummus και baba ganoush (μελιτζάνα σαλάτα από το Ισραήλ) και πότε-πότε το αλειφώ το ψωμί για το μεσημεριανό. Βεβαίως έχω τη κανέλλα και τη χρησιμοποιώ συχνά.

Μόλις σήμερα έφαγα κόκκινα κόκκινα φασολάδα (cocido de habichuelas, αλλά έχουν διαφορετικά ονόματα σε κάθε περιοχή). Μου αρέσει πολύ πώς τα φτιάχνει η μητέρα μου 😋. Τρώω και ζυμαρικά. Εδώ στην Ισπανία, όταν έχει σχήμα σωλήνα το λέμε macarrones (μακαρόνια), και όταν έχει σχήμα μακρύ κορδόνι λέγεται espaguetis (σπαγγέτι). Υπάρχουν πολλά περισσότερα ονόματα, που εισάγονται από την Ιταλία, αλλά δεν είναι τόσο κοινά. Και μου αρέσουν πολύ τα ροδάκινα σε σιρόπι (melocotones en almíbar). Τρώγονται όλο το χρόνο, αλλά στο σπίτι μου έχουμε το έθιμο να τα τρώμε πάντα στο τέλος του χρόνου. Μου αρέσει πολύ και η κανέλα. Το τρώω σε ένα τυπικό επιδόρπιο που ονομάζεται arroz con leche (ρυζόγαλο).
