I will never forget my Pentathlon it was so fun. I was a scroll reader and got recognized for long jump, javalen and resteling. I think there was more but I cant remember. Edit: but I dont think it will beat the Medieval games

The Olympic Games are not a celebration of "world peace" as this weird teacher puts it. Rather, it started as a competition and an exercise to see which tribe can war and battle better.

You're not totally wrong, but the spirit of the games was to celebrate the games instead of going to war. You could called it preventive diplomacy (don't go to war against us because you will be defeated)! In that fashion ancient Greeks could settled their disputes without having to resort to war, while at the same time honoring the Gods which to them at the time religion was very important!
