Greek Independence Day Parade in Baltimore, Maryland

I'm on the Greek Independence Day Parade Committee for the Parade in Baltimore. We had a parade last year, and we are having another one again this year, on March 27. For those who don't know, the committee was reorganized in 2009 and the parade was renamed to the Maryland Greek Independence Day Parade.

If that is Engine 41, (E-41), it is in my longer 30 minute version of the parade. I sent a copy of that DVD to the pastor at St. Nicholas. In addition, the fuller version has been running on Channel 75, the Public Cable Access program in Baltimore City.

Well, this year 2013 it was a real embarassment. We marched to empty streets. Sad to say that no one came to see the parade and that it sucked again this year. Some were in uniform but most were in casual jeans and sport winter clothing Shame that it use to be much bigger, guess we will be going to Philadelphia now for the parade. Don't know what happened, it use to be quite festive but in the past few years has been a total flop.
