I can't explain exactly why in a comment section here, but for some reason the whole moral or undertone of this whole story of Zeus, Apollo & Asclepius has elements of Book of Job feeling to it, a book that once upon a time had me despising The Biblical God but with time and life experience has come to make a lot sense.

Quick question, are you saying Hades chooses not to fight Zeus for power out of love for his brother and respect for his job, as opposed to, him being too weak to take Zeus? I’m not sure I agree with the whole of the framing here. In the myths and the timeline of your retellings, Apollo has been a major participant in the Gigantomachy and has seen Zeus defeat Typhon. This doesn’t match up with the characterisation here, unless it’s is meant to be before them both.
@firerocklaser68196 ай бұрын
I don't think he saw Zeus fight Typhon. Rewatch the typhoon video. Apollo ran away from typhoon. Hera was the only person who saw Zeus fight typhoon

Ah, the typical arrogance of an Olympian. For all of Appollo's powers of prophecy and insight, he is shown to be an ignorant boy, foolish enough to think he can challenge both the lord of the sky, and the lord of the underworld. But now he knows why Zeus is king, and if you're going to strike the king, you better kill the king... or suffer the consequences! And poor Leto. To see both her lover and her son go to battle against one another. A fitting and epic end to the Tragedy of Asclepius, and I can't wait to what you narrate next.
